Dariell Cano, an 18-year-old singer/songwriter from Grand Rapids, Michigan, embraces his second-generation Mexican-American identity. Inspired by Ariel Camacho, Virlan Garcia, and Carlos Torres, he received his first guitar at 11. Carlos introduced him to Gypsy Jazz, influencing Dariell's innovative take on Regional Mexican music. As part of a new wave, he caters to Mexican-American teens, connecting through his music.
